However, please be aware that your actual tax preparation cost may vary from the base price, depending on factors such as having a small business or filing with a spouse.

There are several reasons why your base price may increase, which we've outlined below in a friendly manner:

- Filing with a spouse: $75

- State tax return: $75- Business or 1099: $250

- Real estate investor: $200 per property

- Sold stock/cryptocurrency: $75

- Partnerships: $950

- S-Corporations: $1,500
